Kevin Artz, PPA Master Photographer

Mr. Artz's photography has appeared on the cover of prestigious national magazines such as "The Professional Photographer", accompanied by in-depth articles about the photographer and his creative Senior Portraiture techniques. The articles received Certificates Of Merit from The Professional Photographers Of America and the PPA has featured Mr. Artz's award-winning photographs in it's nationwide PPA Loan Collection.

Mr. Artz began his career as a professional photographer in 1980 in California and began winning awards for his creative photography as early as 1981. Later that year, Mr. Artz relocated to Yankton, South Dakota where he worked as a staff photographer for Corrigan Studio until he purchased the business in 1984. The business name was changed to Kevin Artz Photographic in 1995 and a new, state-of-the-art, digital photography studio was opened in 2005 on Broadway in Yankton.

Mr. Artz has continued to win countless honors and awards throughout his extensive career including: nine years of Court Of Honor awards from The South Dakota Professional Photographers Association, four Kodak Gallery awards, an SDPPA Masters Print award, an SDPPA Best Regional Masters Print award, and countless SDPPA First Place awards including: Best Unclassified award, two Best Portrait awards, two Best Wedding Album awards and two Best Wedding Print awards.
